You were born for such a time as this!
In my three-part post titled “Are you a current day Esther?” I share the story of Queen Esther, as well as explain, in my own words & understanding, the steps she took in order to save her people. The entire post focuses on being a willing vessel that God has called “for such a time as this”. My favorite scripture from this story is:
Esther 4:14, “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
Today, my words for you are: ♥You were born for such a time as this.♥
Whatever God has you doing, only you can do the way He wants you to do it. Just as every snowflake is named the same, they are not; they are uniquely made~no two are alike. You, dear friend are the same way! God made fabulous you, to do what you’re doing, because no one else does it like you! We need you: your gifts, your voice, your love, your wisdom, your smarts… we need it all. Just as a body is incomplete without a finger, we are incomplete without you! So keep doing what you’re doing!
For those of you who are still shaking in your boots, scared to take that first step of obedience? Well, friend, the time is now. Ya see, just like with Esther, if we don’t obey the Call God’s placed on our life, He uses someone else. “deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place.” Someone else won’t be the “ideal” vessel, but because they are a willing vessel, He uses them. Don’t be afraid; you’re chosen & you’re uniquely qualified by Jesus, for such a time as this.
So grab your boots, buck up & start walkin’! As much as I love boots… they’re made for walking, not sittin’ pretty on a shelf! 🙂 You have a world of people waiting for you… don’t let the devil steal your joy by keeping you living in fear.
2 Timothy 1:7, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
May 2014 be a year of growth for you. May you blossom into the gift(s) God’s calling you to & may you find sweet joy in simple obedience.
Nehemiah 8:10, “the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
I’m cheering you on! You can do this; we can do this!
Love,
Satin
