Happy Birthday, Tyler!
Happy 48th Birthday, Tyler!
Today is a very special day in our home: It’s my amazing husband Tyler’s 48th Birthday!
I still remember the first day we met as if it were just yesterday and yet we just celebrated 13 years married on 9/10/2024!
I am so proud to be your wife. Proud of you for all you are and all you’ve become as you’ve grown in your walk with God.
For those of you who don’t know my husband well, I’d like to paint a picture of who he is to me
Tyler is witty and infamously known for his endless dad jokes which keep us all laughing!
Tyler is a hard worker, putting his heart and soul into everything he does, constantly striving for excellence!
Tyler is organized and keeps his shop/man cave looking picture perfect – which is every man’s dream yet rarely something most men maintain, yet he does!
Tyler is a man of God. He leads our family well, praying before our meals and praying over our family before we go our separate ways each morning.
Tyler is a loyal friend to those he values; he will drop anything to help a friend or neighbor in need, never expecting anything in return.
Tyler is a loving and patient father to Jackson; teaching him all he can to equip him for excellence and success in the real world.
Tyler is a gentle, loving, patient and loyal husband; he’s my best friend, biggest cheerleader & my confidant! I wouldn’t be able to pursue my MBSR™ Practice without his endless support, encouragement and practical help!
So on your birthday today, Tyler, I want to pause and remind you just how much of a difference you are making in the world – by making a difference in our world! I am proud of the man you have become as you’ve grown in your walk with God. I am so excited to watch what God does in and through you in the days to come. I pray God’s favor be upon you, His passion for righteousness be ignited in you, and His boldness & courage alive in and through you in all you say and do.
I love you, I honor you and I thank God for you.
Thank you for choosing to do life with me!
XOXO
Your grateful wife,
Satin Pelfrey

I’ve been mulling over this post for several days now. My heart wants to go there, but my head does not. It’s not a pretty place, it’s an awkward & painful place, yet at the same time it’s a beautiful place-if I choose to look at it that way. I still remember the day, as…
