The Joy of Celebrating Someone Else’s Calling
Hello Friend!
One of the unexpected gifts of this year has been learning how beautiful it is to celebrate what God is doing in someone else's life.
There was a time when I probably would have looked at someone else's opportunity and quietly wondered, "Lord... when will it be my turn?"
Not because I wasn't happy for them.
But because my heart was still measuring God's faithfulness by what He was (or wasn't) doing in my own life.
Contentment has changed that.
Now I find myself genuinely excited when I watch God open doors for the people I love.
Today is one of those days.
My best friend, ministry partner, and co-host of Spirit Filled Girl Talk, Sarah Phillipe, officially launched her brand-new podcast: Faith-Filled Healing.
And I honestly couldn't be more excited.
Not simply because she's my friend.
But because I've had the privilege of watching God prepare her for this moment.
I've also had the privilege of working with Sarah personally through my own healing journey. I've watched her walk with wisdom, humility, discernment, and an unwavering commitment to keep Christ at the center of every recommendation she makes.
That matters.
In today's world, there is no shortage of voices talking about health.
Some speak from fear.
Some promise quick fixes.
Some unintentionally become so focused on healing that they lose sight of the Healer.
Sarah is different.
She helps women pursue healing without losing sight of Jesus.
She helps women understand the incredible way God designed our bodies while continually pointing them back to the One who designed them.
I trust her because I've experienced it myself.
Watching this podcast launch reminds me that the Kingdom isn't about building our own platforms.
It's about faithfully stewarding the assignments God gives each of us.
Mine looks different than hers.
And that's exactly how it's supposed to be.
Together, we get to serve women in different ways while pointing them toward the same Savior.
That is something worth celebrating.
So today, I'm simply thanking God.
For faithful friendships.
For women who say "yes" to the Lord.
For gifts that bless the Body of Christ.
And for the joy that comes when we stop competing and start celebrating.
If you've been looking for a Christ-centered voice to help you navigate your healing journey with wisdom, hope, and biblical truth, I truly believe Sarah's new podcast will bless you.
Congratulations, my sweet friend. What a joy it has been to watch the Lord write this story.
I'm cheering you on every step of the way.
With Love,
