Friday Fun Fact #2

Happy Friday, Friend!

I am back with my new "Friday Fun Facts" post and excited to share with you!

Not only is this a fun fact about me so you can get to know me a little better, but it's also a fun tip I want to share with you to help you navigate the busyness of the coming holidays!

For as far back as I can remember, I have scheduled family photos in September or October! Yep, you read that correctly because I schedule family photos during a slower time of the year and then I order photocards on Shutterfly, or design them myself using Canva in early October.

I always order envelopes with our return address already printed on them, saving me time + keeping the envelopes clean and without the "clutter" of a label.

This timeframe allows me a few weeks in October and early November to stuff and address the envelopes. FYI: Shutterfly does offer to address and mail the cards for a nominal fee, but I prefer to keep the personal touch of self-addressing my own envelopes (this could change in the future ha ha!)

I typically mail the photocards the week of, or immediately after Thanksgiving!  Because of this timing, I rarely choose Christmas themed photocards. Instead, I tend to select more neutral themes like Family love, gratitude and blessings... this also allows the recipient to display the photocard year round should they so desire!

Thanks for taking the time to read and learning a fun fact about me!
XOXO

P.S. Below are three different examples of the designs I've used in past years.
