Finding Gratitude in the Midst of Life’s Busyness

Hello Friend!

I hope you are well and taking small moments here and there for yourself, even amidst all that’s happening around you. Life can get so busy that we often rush from one thing to the next, and in doing so, we can miss the chance to pause and appreciate the good around us. Taking just a few minutes each day to acknowledge what we are grateful for can bring so much peace and perspective.

As you navigate the busyness, here are a few small ways to invite gratitude into your day:

Take a Morning Pause:
Start the day with a quick pause, just five minutes, to think about one thing you’re looking forward to. This positive focus can set a grateful tone.

Use “Trigger” Reminders:
Choose a regular daily activity, like waiting for coffee to brew or sitting down at lunch, as a reminder to pause and think of something or someone you’re thankful for.

End the Day with Reflection: Before you go to bed, think of three things you’re grateful for from the day. They could be as simple as a good conversation, a moment of laughter, or even a task completed.

Today, I encourage you to take five minutes to posture your heart toward expressing gratitude for three important people in your life:

God: Pausing to acknowledge Who God is, What He's doing for you and all the ways He has provided for you, brings a sense of peace and purpose.

Your spouse: Relationships can be the foundation of our happiness. Take a moment to appreciate your partner’s support, love, and companionship. Send a quick text, give them a quick call, send them a little email or greet them with a big hug & kiss at the end of your day!

A loved one or friend: Friendships and family bonds sustain us in tough times and make the good times even better. Take a second to thank someone who’s been there for you.

Friend, there is always something to be grateful for, so let's posture our hearts toward GRATITUDE!  I hope and pray these tips are helpful, and that you’re able to take just a few moments to breathe, reflect, and feel a bit of warmth in this busy season. Little by little, these pauses can make a big difference.

With love and gratitude,
