I have baggage, don't you? The kind of baggage that leaves us with the choice to either allow it to define us, or refine us. To break us or to make us. To make us bitter or make us better.

...I needed to focus on where I wanted to be, not where I was currently!

It's a desperate cry for Him to reveal Himself to me and like God always does-He remains quiet until I am still enough to hear His gentle and loving voice.

He's already won the battle for you! And He'd do it a thousand times over to show you how much He cares.

The beautiful part of grieving, is embracing the LOVE that cries loudly and powerfully for the one whom we are grieving.

Loving well is sowing seeds every.single.day in the lives of those we love the most. Listening. Caring. Encouraging. Praying.

Life has been hard. Really, really hard. The kind of hard that people stop showing up for and just walk away from.

When life rains times of trouble, pain and heartache, I Choose Joy because the joy of the Lord truly is my strength.
