♥ You are SO loved! ♥

I’m linking up today on my friend Holley’s page. She started “Coffee for your Heart” as a place where we can go to encourage each other & I just LOVE it!  Here’s hoping that my post today will warm your heart & remind you of just how LOVED you really are, today & always!

♥♥♥

The devil is good at throwing the past in our face, isn’t he?

I’ve come to the conclusion over the years, that God allows the devil to throw the past in our face for a reason!  You see, when we face something often enough, we become stronger, contrary to running from it & becoming weaker.  By allowing the devil to throw our past in our face, day after day, God is giving us the opportunity to face those failures nose-to-nose, and deal with them, not run away in shame.

Shame is such an ugly thing. Shame causes us to back down, cower into a ball, and all but give up, if not give up completely.

Shame steals our joy, robs us of our peace, and gives power to the devil.

Today I want to speak to those of you who are still struggling with shame of any kind for things in your past. I’m here to tell you that if you have repented (confessed, asked God & others for forgiveness & turned away from your sin) then you are forgiven!

Forgiven: SO loved!

don't look back
So next time the devil throws the past in your face, don’t back down, cower into a ball or give up! Use the devils taunting to EMPOWER YOU through the HOLY SPIRIT!

Speak TRUTH to the devils LIES by quoting scripture! When we quote scripture, the devil RUNS; he hates truth because he hates the Author of Truth!

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” Romans 8:1

“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” Hebrews 8:12

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Clean Slate: SO loved!

Jesus' Love covers the past

Jesus’ LOVE for us surpasses all our wrongs and writes us a NEW beginning.
We have a clean slate.
It’s time to allow Jesus’ LOVE to encompass all that we are.
Yesterday is gone, our sins are remembered no more.
Embrace TODAY. Live for TODAY. Live for LOVE~Jesus’ Love.

“The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:
‘I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.'”
Jeremiah 31:3

What will you write on your slate?
