A Note From Satin Pelfrey
Hello & Welcome! It has been a lifelong dream of mine to help women, so as a BII Thriver, I want to turn my Pain into Empowerment by empowering YOU to view your body as the good and beautiful body God created.
I am so excited to announce the launch of my 2024 Women's Emotional Support Group, centered around the book by Jess Connolly titled Breaking Free From Body Shame. This group is for women wanting to shift their mindset and break free from body shame! Spring of 2023 was the first time I offered this group, and it was transformative for all the ladies, including myself.
My heart's desire in creating this Emotional Support Group is to provide a safe space for us to share our stories and struggles while learning through those struggles, and coming out of this group Turning our Pain into Empowerment!
What People are Saying about This Group
"I had the awesome opportunity to work with Satin in her group setting reviewing the book Breaking Free From Body Shame. Satin was an absolute blessing to work with. She guided myself and other beautiful women through reading this book and working through life changing questions. Satin was so genuine and lovingly encouraged us throughout our meetings together. This truly allowed for a safe and brave space for me, and others, to share our thoughts and experiences which allowed me to grow and change. This was such a blessing and I am so thankful I had the opportunity to join this group. I would absolutely recommend working with Satin!"
"I worked with Satin in the book group, Breaking Free From Body Shame. This was a life changing experience and am so grateful that I was able to join this group. I felt safe to open up and share my story, and encouraged to change my mindset regarding my body and align my thoughts to loving my very good body. The love and encouragement that I received through this group was the support that I needed to get through and learn the tools to move forward in my life in a positive way. I feel much more confident to be a better example and encouragement for my own daughters to raise strong women with positive body image foundations."
"It was so helpful to be in a group setting to hear the struggles that other women are facing and how we can transform them. I learned so much through all of the insights shared!"
"Anytime you have the opportunity to talk about a book you are reading with others who are doing the same you have an opportunity to see things you may not have seen on your own."

About Me
My name is Satin (think fabric!). I am a BII THRIVER!! I had my breast implants for over 13 years while unbeknownst to me they were causing severe health issues due to the toxicity they introduced to my body. You may read/watch more about my story HERE. I explanted in September of 2020 and have been on a journey to regain my health by working with Holistic Health Practitioner and Breast Implant Illness and Detox Expert, Sarah Phillipe. As a result of my efforts I am healthier and happier than I've been in decades!
I am a certified Mind Body Spirit Release™ Practitioner excited to embark on this new journey of helping people heal from past trauma(s), grief as well as various life challenges and disappointments. Life is hard, #butGod is always good! We may not understand why things happen, but I have graciously learned, God either reveals the "why" behind the trials, or teaches us understanding while providing us with various modalities to help us endure life's toughest challenges. The MBSR™ Method has been monumental in bringing healing into my life and relationships so I look forward to helping others discover the healing this beautiful, Christian-based modality offers.
Living an authentic and transparent life is most important to me, which is why I launched a six-week Emotional Support Group for women and girls who want to learn about Breaking Free from Body Shame. In these support groups we focus on authenticity while sharing our unique story in vulnerability. We learn that we are not alone; we all struggle with insecurities. However, the powerful truths from God's Word empower us to learn to love our very good body the way God created it and how to turn our Pain to Empowerment.
I am passionate about Jesus, the life He has blessed me with and the calling He placed on my life when I was just a child. I desire to be a willing vessel He can use to encourage others as I carry on the beautiful legacy my late parents left me of loving Jesus passionately and unwaveringly.
Welcome to my journey and thank you for including me in yours!
