Breaking Free from Body Shame

Hello Friend!

Society bombards us daily with images that threaten to make us feel “less than”, and “not enough”. However, I am determined to live the truth I learned from author Jess Connolly in her book Breaking Free from Body Shame. I read Jess Connolly’s book prior to explanting, and gained so much truth and confidence from her words, as she leans into the Bible for God’s truths spoken over us.

By now I assume you know my story of having breast implants for thirteen years, then choosing to have them removed through the process of explanting. When I realized my left implant had ruptured and either needed to be replaced or removed, I was faced with the harsh reality that my implants were simply a mask covering my body insecurities.  It was in this moment of realization that I made a conscience decision not to keep my implants and rather to remove them and allow my body to heal from BII (Breast Implant Illness). I also made a firm decision to actually deal with my insecurities and learn to love my body the way God created it instead of trying to make it into something it isn’t.

It doesn’t matter if you are 12, 24, 48 or 70… as women, we all face the pressure from society to fit in and look a certain way.  Whether you have augmented your body in some way like I did with breast implants, or whether you simply struggle with the image you see in the mirror, I want to walk alongside you and help you learn to love your beautiful body the way God created it.

I am so excited to announce the launch of an Emotional Support Group for women wanting to shift their mindset and break free from body shame!

It has been a lifelong dream of mine to help women. As a BII Thriver, I want to turn my Pain into Empowerment by empowering YOU to view your body as the good and beautiful body God created.

My heart’s desire in creating this Emotional Support Group is to provide a safe space for us to share our stories and struggles while learning through those struggles, and coming out of this group Turning our Pain into Empowerment!

Discover How to Embrace the Natural Beauty of Your Very Good Body, Just The Way God Created it!

This group is for YOU if …

Welcome back, I saw your name and wanted to respond. We all have a story, I’m a breast cancer survivor and it’s always been a choice to be natural and do what I need to do for my health. Five years was the plan. I’m on year three.
    Take care,
